MARIA GORETHI CONVENT, THAVALAM

Maria Gorethi Convent Thavalam is blessed on 2nd October 1963 by Mar Joseph Irimpen, Bishop of Palakkad Diocese. The sisters are fully involved in the life of the people around. Our sisters are actively participating in the Parish activities such as Catechism, Youth Ministry, Ward Prayers, Faith Formation Programmes and the other Pious Associations activities etc. Moreover, we serve as the Sacristian in the Parish for many years. Sehion Retreat Centre, one of the well-known Retreat Centre in Kerala is very near to our convent and some of our sisters are doing volunteer service over there. Also, we have a Host-Making Centre attached to our convent.
